Pouches by Page proudly supports Susan G. Komen for the Cure® by donating pouches for silent auction

Arlington, VA - Pouches by Page, an eco-friendly manufacturer of recycled leather mini-wallets, recently donated pouches stitched in bubble gum and fuchsia thread, representing the pink ribbon, to the Susan G. Komen silent auction to be held in Sterling, VA, on August 22nd. Net proceeds from the fundraising event are invested in breast cancer research and community-based programs for breast health education and screening.

The silent auction, organized by the Kehr to Touch team, will take place during the Cuttin' for a Cure haircut-athon at Sana Hair & Nail Salon. It will feature donations from local businesses and artists. The goal of the Kehr to Touch team is to raise $16,100 along their amazing journey in the fight to end breast cancer. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days.

About Pouches by Page

Pouches by Page was founded on the principle that recycling should not be limited to materials such as paper or plastic. Since 2009, we have been repurposing high quality leather scraps from the furniture industry as “practical wallets for folks on the go.” Our custom pouches are handmade in a pocket sized studio in Arlington, VA, and can be purchased through the company’s website at www.pouchesbypage.com.
