What are the dimensions of a pouch?
Approx. 2.75" wide x 4" high (outside dimension) and 2.5" x 3.75" (inside dimension)
How do you maintain/clean a pouch?
Use distilled water on a cloth and gently buff the leather. Do not add oils or leather cleaners, which may change the color or texture of your pouch. Your pouch will age beautifully over time, taking on a natural patina.
What is does aniline dyed mean?
The leathers we use are full grain; top grain leathers which have been bathed in aniline dye. The aniline dying process allows for the color to soak through every layer of the hide, rather than a pigment that some manufacturers paint on the top surface of the leather. No correction process has been done to conceal surface imperfections on the hides.
Why don't you offer black leather pouches?
While black leather is always stylish when it comes to shoes and accessories, it is not the case for furniture. Because our leathers are scraps from the furniture industry, not enough black leather furniture is produced for us to keep black as a stock leather.
What is your return policy?

Is a pouch supposed to stretch?
Yes. The beauty of the pouch is the gradual elasticity of our sturdy, yet supple leather. Because leather is a natural material, it will stretch a little and take on the shape of the items you store in your pouch.
What is the lead time on a pouch?
Because each pouch is customized and handmade, it takes a little longer than a stocked product. We estimate approximately two weeks or less.
Why don't you offer larger pouches to fit laptops, ipads, ibooks, etc.?
Because we only use scrap leathers, the pieces of the hide tend to be small... too small to produce anything much larger than a pouch.
Why the Gryphon logo?
The Gryphon is a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle. In many legends, the Gryphon was the guardian of treasure. We found this fitting, as the pouch is sort of the modern day guardian of your valued possessions.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes. Gift wrapping is available at an additional cost of $4.95. Gift wrapping includes a pouch artfully packaged in a gift box with a fabric bow. To have an item gift wrapped, select ‘Gift Wrapping’ as your Shipping method upon checkout. Please note, in order to send gifts to multiple addresses, please place separate orders when shopping online.
